This repository contains supplementary materials that accompany the manuscript. The materials include R code and summary tables illustrating three methods for estimation from a non-probability sample, as well as a procedure for combining estimates from a probability sample and a non-probability sample.

Files
1. `JDS_supplemental materials_R code.R`: R code of the case study. It walks through each stage of the analysis, from data preparation through to combined estimation.
2. `JDS_supplemental materials_tables.docx`: A Word document containing three summary tables produced by the analysis:
Table 1 – Auxiliary variable percentage distributions for NHANES (reference/population), Sample A (probability sample), and Sample B (non-probability sample). Includes absolute differences, t-values, p-values, and relative bias comparing each sample to NHANES.
Table 2 – Auxiliary variable percentage distributions for Sample B under each weighting method: IPW, Calibration, and Calibrated IPW. Includes absolute differences from the NHANES reference and significance tests.
Table 3 – Study variable proportions (health insurance coverage, high blood pressure, and smoking) for NHANES, Sample A, Sample B (each weighting method), and the combined Sample A+B estimates (each method). Includes absolute differences, t-values, p-values, and relative bias.
